1.4404 Stainless Steel Plate EN 10088-2 standard 1D No.1 surface 5 feet width
Company Brief Introduction:
HAOSTEEL is one of the most professional manufactuer and supplier of stainless steel plate. Comapny culture: person oriented and customer centered. In the past 30 year, HAOSTEEL make good business relationship with more than 40 countries and regions, aiming to be the world’s most value partner.
Material Brief Introduction:
1.4404 is a low carbon austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with corrosion resistance similar to type 1.4401 but with resistance to intergranular corrosion following welding.
1.4404 can be cold rolled to achieve the temper properties required by specific customers and / or manufacturing requirements. For tempers 1/2 hard or above consult Haosteel Technical Services for more information.
1.4404 Stainless Steel (Alloy 316/316L) is molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel. The higher nickel and molybdenum content in this grade allows it to demonstrate better overall corrosion resistant properties than 304, especially with regard to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. In addition, Alloy 316/ 316L provides excellent elevated temperature tensile, creep and stress-rupture strengths, as well as outstanding formability and weldability. 316L is the lower carbon version of 316 and is immune from sensitization; therefore, it is very frequently used in heavy gauge welded components.
EN 10088-2 include stainless steel plate, stainless steel sheet, stainless steel coil, stainless steel strip.
1. Stainless steel plate is hot rolled thick type, thickness is ≥3mm, supply range is 3~200mm.
2. Stainless steel sheet is cold rolled thin type, thickness is ≤6mm. supply range is 0.01~6mm.
3. Stainless steel coil include both hot rolled and cold rolled, width is ≥600mm, supply range 0.6~2.0m.
4. Stainless steel strip include both hot rolled and cold rolled, width is <600mm, supply range 3~600mm.

Finishes
#1–Hot rolled annealed and descaled. It is available in strip, foil and ribbon. It is used for applications where a smooth decorative finish is not required.
#2D–Dull finish produced by cold rolling, annealing and descaling. Used for deep drawn parts and those parts that need to retain lubricants in the forming process.
#2B–Smooth finish produced by cold rolling, annealing and descaling. A light cold rolling pass is added after anneal with polished rolls giving it a brighter finish than 2D.
#BA-Bright annealed cold rolled and bright annealed
Polished-Various grit finish for specific polish finished requirements.
*Not all finishes are available in all alloys – Contact Haosteel Sales for more information
